Dress Up

We got this horse from my Great Aunt for Christmas and the girls think it is the most hilarious thing (and also hilarious to watch) Emma decided she was going to give her baby a ride, every time they ride it they say "Ye Ha" over and over.Since I was taking pictures of everyone else Emma wanted me to take a picture of her, I would tell her to say cheese and she would say Belle.

So dressing up is almost a constant thing in our house, but on Sunday Ashley wanted Justin to join in and he lovingly obliged and it was hilarious, here are just a few of the incriminating photos.

And now for the costume parade...

Justin couldn't even put his arms down. As you can see Ashley could not stop laughing.
This costume was just a little small seeing as it was Emma's first Halloween costume.

Ashley getting "princess twirls" as she calls them from her daddy.

Trying To Be A Mommy

So today Justin & I were in the kitchen making dinner and the girls were playing in their room doing what they usually do, changing in to a million different pairs of pj's and eventually into their princess dresses. They were being really quiet so I went check on them and this is what I found.

Apparently Emma need a diaper change while they were playing dress up, at least it was only a wet diaper. It seems like Ashley is always trying to be the mommy to Emma anything we do she is always repeating what we say. I finally understand why this used to drive my Mom crazy, Sorry!

Happy Anniversary!

Yesterday was our 4th anniversary, and let me tell you it was so much fun! Right, we enjoyed a day of getting up early to get Ashley off to school followed by going to the gym and then at 2:30 Justin enjoyed 3 hours of being a the Dentist for a root canal. Oh well I am sure we will at least get to go out by Saturday, I think Justin will be able to eat real food by then.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Ashley has her Valentine Fun Day at school tomorrow so we spent the night making valentines and baking cookies.
Good thing mommy was there to help other wise the girls would have ended up with just one big cookie.Earlier in the afternoon we received a Valentine's Day surprise from Great Grandma & Great Grandpa Olson. Ashley was very excited to open her gift. Her card has a spot for coloring on the back so she called it a coloring book.Great Grandma and Grandpa sent them Brown Mickey crocs with that warm liner in pink. They also got those fun little characters to put in the holes, they each got Minnie, Mickey, and ArielEmma got to open her gift before bed because she was taking a nap when we got the package and it is so much nicer for them to open them separately because then we actually get to pay attention as each one opens their gift. You can tell by Emma's lips she is saying shoes, you can tell they are girls because boy do they love their shoes. Thank you Great Grandma & Great Grandpa Olson they love their presents.

Happy Valentine's Day!

We Finally Have a Blog

For those who haven't heard from our family in a while I thought I would start out by giving an update to everyone(it seems we have dropped off of the face of the earth since we moved to Las Vegas.) Well since moving here we have made a lot of changes...

Justin is in the process of applying to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, he has another interview on Feb. 17th.

I have started an online store selling little girl hair accessories (kind of a necessity when everyone calls your girls boys because they have no hair.)

Ashley started Preschool at our local elementary school today and Emma is enjoying Joy School two days a week at a friends house.

Emma missed Ashley while she was gone at school and was very excited for Ashley to get home and wanted to give her a hug as soon as she got off of the bus.
No we have not bought a house yet, even though we are dying to with the prices so low out here right now (good things come to those who wait right?) We thought we were going to right when we moved out here but life has been crazy and now with this new adventure of the Police Department we have decided to stay where we are for now. I will try to keep our blog up to date but we will see how dedicated I end up being.
